Here is an Old Hall’s Jewel Tea Pitcher. Stands 5 3/4″ tall and 4 1/4″ in diameter. In VG used Condition no chips or cracks. Some paint wear around lid/handle. Marked on the bottom Hall’s Superior tested and approved by Mary Dunbar Jewel Home Makers Institute Quality Kitchenware.

A little history about the Jewel Tea Company
The company was founded in 1899 and ceased operations under that name in 1981. During those 82 years it had a profound effect on the American home, and also on the country during WW2, where they pioneered the C-ration for American troops and turned their factories into making goods for the war effort. In 1933, Jewel contacted Hall China Co. of East Liverpool, Ohio with the idea of developing a new pattern of china to be used for a new premium program. Jewel and Hall had done business in past years with other premium offers. The partnership resulted in one of, if not the, largest and longest premium programs in the country. Autumn Leaf ran from its beginning in 1933 to its end in 1976. During that time, some 42,000,000 pieces were produced. Jewel tried a comeback of the pattern in 1978, but it never caught on again.

Hall China Co. Autumn Leaf Orange/Yellow Flowers, Brown & Tan Leaves Gold Trim….Pie Plate 9 3/4″ in diameter and about 1 3/4″ high this has one chip on the underside of the rim ,wear to the gold trim.. No cracks still in useable condition…
The Hall China Company of East Liverpool, Ohio was established in 1903. Hall was the largest manufacturer of teapots in the world.
Autumn Leaf is the most popular dinnerware pattern ever produced at the Hall plant. Autumn Leaf was made by Hall for the Jewel Tea Company from 1933 until 1976. All pieces were not made continuously during that time. Autumn Leaf was an inclusive line made only for the Jewel Tea Company and sold only through the Jewel Companies.

Vintage “Hall’s” China.. Forest Green ..Individual TeaPot with Lid. Measures approximately 3 1/4″ high x 6 1/2″ diameter (from spout to handle). Marked on bottom “Hall Made in USA”. No cracks or chips. Used and in good condition.

Hall Pattern Red Poppy with platinum inner ring..Oval Platter 11 1/4″ by 8 3/4″ small chips on the inside rim.. No cracks.. marked on the back in gold lettering Superior Hall Quality Dinnerware around gold circle..
