Westmoreland:Milk Glass Large Chicken On the Nest

This vintage Westmoreland Glass hen is signed on top Only! She is in Very good condition and is beautifully molded in milk glass with lots of lifelike design intricacies including vanes in the feathers, and different types of feathers in her ruff, back and wings. Her head is cocked to the side and is highly detailed with expressive eyes, a multi-lobed rose comb and wattles. Four eggs peek out from under her. Her eyes and comb are fired on red. She is 5-1/2 inches tall from the table to the top of her tail feathers, is approximately 7-1/2 inches long and her basket is 6 inches wide. Her ?nest? is molded on the outside to resemble a basket, and the rim beaded all around. The old glass is white fading to clear at the very edges. no cracks, no chips, An impressive addition to any hen-on-nest collection or for any chicken lover!
