Vintage… Handpainted…Pottery….Fruit/Vegetables/Leaves…Rectangular… Tureen with Lid & Ladle. Unknown Maker?? This lovely handpainted pottery rectangular tureen with lid and ladle features handpainted red cherries, yellow onion, peach & green leaves, yellow accents and a green band. The tureen measures approximately 5 1/8″ high (without lid), 7 1/2″ high (with lid on). 7 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ mouth diameter and about 10″ from handle to handle. The handles also feature a handpainted green leaf design. The ladle measures approximately 8 1/2″ long x 2 3/4″ diameter of the “bowl” and is all white in color with the bottom having a spot where the fired shiny glazing is worn. There are 3 VERY SMALL CHIPS on the VERY BOTTOM UNDERNEATH (see photo). Great for parties, showers, etc.. This is a very nice vintage set in good, used condition.
