Vintage…. Ceramic….. Santa Heads…. Salt & Pepper Shakers…. Made in Japan. These adorable vintage salt & pepper shakers, circa 1950’s-60’s, are marked “Japan” in black lettering on the bottom. Neither has its stopper, but stoppers can be made quite easily by using tissue paper, cork, etc… Each ceramic santa claus head measures about 3 1/2″ to 4″ high and features santa with his rosy red cheeks, white beard and mustache and red lips wearing the traditional red & white hat with gold accents on the white trim. One of the shakers is winking (shaker has 2 holes on top of head for shaking) and the other has both eyes open (shaker has 3 holes on top of head for shaking ). There are no nicks, chips or cracks. There is some crazing if you inspect these closely. Great vintage set that would be a nice addition to your vintage or holiday shaker collection and would look great on display for the holoidays! In good, used condition.
