The Hen On the nest is probably one of the most prolific glassware items in the history of press glassware producction. Indiana Glass was just one of many glass factories to produce this product,..These chickens were made from the 1930’s through the plant’s closure…..This is white milk glass with a bead pattern around edge of nest, the chicken/rooster is nicely detailed with tail and wing feathers, measures about 5 1/2" tall and 7" across long part of nest….good condition….lovely in a vintage or country kitchen setting…..
