Homer Laughlin:OvenServe Pink Blue Flowers Casserole

Homer Laughlin OvenServe Pink and Blue Flowers with green leaves this design is embossed. marked on the bottom Oven Serve Made in USA..Casserole with lid bowl 8 1/2 ” in diameter and about 3″ high. Lot of Browning and crazing under the glaze and one spot on the outside rim (check picture) I see no chips or cracks on the bowl.. Lid has 2 chips on some browning under the glaze on the underside of the rim.. and one 1/2″ crack on the rim…..other wise for the age not to bad..
OvenServe was introduced in 1933 and was designed by Fredrick Rhead. It consists of a comprehensive series of shapes designed for baking, broiling, chilling, freezing and otherwise preparing food. Various sizes of casseroles, pie plates, dessert dishes and baking dishes were made in OvenServe. In order to provide a perfect table settings, cups, saucers and three sizes of serving plates were produced. OvenServe was made in Orange (called Pumpkin by collectors), Melon Yellow, Ivory and Ivory with decorations.
