Black & Gold…. Coffee Mug… Fire Bureau Shamokin, PA 1979. Mug measures approximately 4 1/2″ high x 3 1/8″ diameter. The mug is glossy black with a gold edge along the top edge and in gold lettering on the front that reads: “Fire Bureau, Shamokin, PA, 1979 with a picture of a tree in the center with the words “City of Shamokin, Incorporated 1864”. The back of the mug reads: (gold lettering) “Friendship 1873; Liberty 1873; rescue 1873; Independence 1873; West End 1888; Fire Police 1934; Emergency Squad 1962”. There are no nicks, chips or cracks. This mug is part of a large collection. This is a great piece to add to your collection! In good, used condition.
