There is a blue bird with a red breast in flight, black trees and a patch of orange hanging from the black trees. There are no nicks, chips or cracks. Great piece to add to your Japan Lusterware Collection. In good, used condition.

This lovely green & white handpainted porcelain teapot with lid measures approximately 5 3/4″ high (with lid on) x 8 1/2″ wide (from handle to end of spout) and features a handpainted picture of the shoreline with a lighthouse and trees in the background and is trimmed in red. There is 1 very small nick on the edge of the lip, 1 small flea bite on the spout and a very small chip on the bottom of the lid where it is “notched (see photos). No other nicks, chips or cracks. Nice vintage piece in good, used condition.
