This lovely vintage porcelain ewer/pitcher measures approximately 7 1/4″ high x 2 7/8″ wide (mouth of vase), 4 1/2″ wide (from handle to handle) and features raised cherubs in the garden; some cherubs are reading a book and some are picking flowers off the bush. There is also a raised pattern of leaves and grape clusters on the top and bottom of the vase. There are no nicks, chips or cracks. There is ALOT of crazing!! Nice vintage piece to add to your collection…would also look great as an accent piece to any room! In good, used condition.

Their colors are bright and sharp…Buying as is condition..

One corner has a man fishing with boat in back of him; 2 diagonal corners have the identical picture of a red basket with yellow flowers in it (looks like tulips perhaps??); the other corner has a woman carrying rice baskets over her shoulder. The center of the nappy had a larger version of the red basket with yellow flowers in it; however, alot of the picture is worn off.It is marked on the back, I can only read “Hand Painted, Made in Japan, Patent Applied For”. Measures approximately 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ x 3/4″ high. There is alot of crazing under the glaze, but no chips or cracks.
