Marked on the back “The Ironstone China, Matsumura & Co, Made in Japan, For Decorative Use Only”. Plate has gold edge and depicts pictures of: Fountain of Prometheus, United Nations Building, Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge & Lower Manhattan Skyline, Rockefeller Plaza, Rockefeller NY Center, Statue of Kiberty, Central park, New York Coliseum, John F. Kennedy International Airport, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Mid Town Manhattan, Coney Island, Battery Park, New York Harbor, George Washington Bridge & Yankee Stadium. Note: There is a tab on the back should you desire to mount the plate; however, there is a significant amount of tape on it, which leads me to believe that perhaps it may be ready to come off, but not certain for sure! Very collectible plate! There are no nicks, chips or cracks. Great piece to add to your collection. In good, used condition.
