Pyrex Flameware 6763 Double Boiler Upper Pot Insert.A Pyrex blue Flame Ware 1-1/2 quart insert (top pan) for your double boiler bottom. It’s the 6762 model, produced from 1937 to 1951 (though this one would date to no later than 1946 when Pyrex discontinued using blue glass).
It has a glass handle and detachable snap-off stainless steel band. The green stamped Flameware logo is still intact. The bottom of the pot has noticeable stir marks. The pot is clean with no chips, flakes, or fleabites, and no rust to the metal parts.
