Marked on back of plate “Ornamold, Montreal…Ornamin, Canada..#4130” There is a gold foil circular sticker on the back that reads “Canadian Art Series..These reproductions provide a view of the Canadian scene, past and present, from original art exclusively created for these products. Made in Canada by Canadian craftsmen at Ornamin, a division of Canadian Buttons Limited, Montreal”. This triangular shaped signed collectible plate measures approximately 5 1/8″ x 5 1/8″ and features a beautiful scene of a black bear with a salmon? in his mouth with the snowcapped mountains in the background and clear blue sky. The plate is signed “Rudy Fourmeir”??? (not certain of name, very small print). Under the picture are the words “Canadian Black Bear-Ours Noir du Canada”. This is a very nice collectible piece in good, used condition.
