Ceramic Rough Textured 2-Part Lg Easter Egg Decoration

Ceramic… Rough Textured…. 2-Part…. Large…. Easter Egg…. Decoration. Unknown Maker? Egg measures approximately 6 1/2″ long x 4 1/2″ wide (at its widest point) x 4 3/4″ high. This is a very unique piece!! Featured is a large ceramic easter egg that comes apart and features a rough texture (almost looks like it was made from rolling the outside of the ceramic egg in glue and then rolling it in large sugar crystals) The “crystals” make the egg have a shiny looking, rough textured affect to it. On the front top of the egg, under the texture, is a picture of a mother bunny wearing a bonnet and holding a baby chick in her hands. She is showing the chick to her baby bunny who is sitting next to her perchd on a mushroom. There is an Easter basket and a ladybug at the bottom of the mother bunny. The bottom half of the egg has a flat spot in the center so it sits nicely without rolling. I absolutely LOVE THIS PIECE as I have never seen anything like it before!! NOTE: There is a small chip on the inside edge as well as a hairline crack on the inside (see photo). Neither of these imperfections are noticeable when the egg is closed and neither affects the egg fitting together properly. Great piece to add to your easter decoration collection and a great conversation piece as well! Kids will love it!!! In good, used condition.
