27…. Vintage… Heavy Cast Metal….Gold & Silver Colored….Felt Pads on bottom.. Chess Pieces…. Medieval/Crusaders/Ottoman Empire??? Unknown Maker?? There are supposed to be 32 pieces; however, I only have 27 and I do not have the board! These are very nice vintage pieces which I believe to be themed on the Knights & Crusaders, Ottoman Empire or simply Medieval?? One side would play with the gold colored heavy cast metal pieces and the other side would play with the silver colored heavy cast metal pieces. I believe the 5 pieces that are missing would be: 2 gold colored rooks; 1 gold colored knight and 2 silver colored bishops, again, NOT CERTAIN!!! Each piece measures anywhere from the shortest being 2 1/2″ high to the tallest being 4″ high and the bottom diameter on all of the pieces is about 1 3/8″ -1 1/2″. Most of the pieces have a felt covered bottom, except for 6 pieces. Very nice heavy collectible chess pieces. In good, used condition.
