2003.. Hasbro.. Furreal Friend Pup.. Apricot Poodle. Is there anything cuter than a newborn puppy? The Fur Real Poodle’s golden brown fur is incredibly soft, his face is adorably scrunched and sleepy, and the sounds and movements he makes when you “wake” him are realistic (therefore endearing as can be). Just pet the pooch gently and he begins to murmur and coo. Soon, your newborn lifts his waggly head, opens his eyes, and is ready to play. Leave him alone and he’ll whimper. Stroke him steadily and off he goes to dreamland. If only his mechanical innards could have been padded a bit better; with the lightest caress, fingers will bump up against the sharp edges of the battery and gear box. A small flaw in a charming toy, though. What a sweetheart! . Three AAA batteries required.. In good, used, working condition..
